N-400 Ready is an iOS app provided by Kuuloa LLC that helps users practice for the U.S. naturalization interview with mock interview questions, spoken answer practice, civics review, retry sessions, and AI-assisted answer feedback. No account is required to use the app.
This app is an independent educational practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency. The app does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee any immigration result or naturalization outcome.
1. Developer and Contact
The app is provided by Kuuloa LLC. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at support@kuuloa.com.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
N-400 Ready stores practice-related data locally on your device, such as your selected interview state or territory, civics test version, current civics answers, spoken practice transcripts, answer feedback, retry items, and purchase entitlement state.
This local data is used to personalize practice, resume sessions, build retry lists, show progress, and unlock paid features. You can reset study setup or clear practice history from inside the app. You can also delete local app data by uninstalling the app.
3. Microphone and Speech Recognition
If you choose spoken practice, the app uses the microphone and Apple speech recognition services to turn your spoken answer into text. You can also type an answer instead of speaking.
N-400 Ready does not upload or store audio recordings on a Kuuloa LLC server. The app uses the recognized transcript text to show your answer and, when you submit it for review, to generate practice feedback.
4. AI Answer Feedback
When AI feedback is enabled and you submit an interview answer, the app sends a limited request to a Kuuloa LLC API endpoint hosted on Vercel. That request may include the interview question, your typed or transcribed answer, expected answer hints, whether the practice question is marked sensitive, and practice context such as your selected state or territory, civics test version, work or school summary, marital status note, and travel summary.
The Kuuloa LLC API sends this request to OpenAI's API to produce concise educational feedback. Kuuloa LLC does not use these AI feedback requests to create an account profile, sell personal information, or serve advertising. The API is designed to return feedback to the app without keeping a long-term transcript database.
When the current civics answer auto-update feature is used, the app may send only your selected interview state or territory to a Kuuloa LLC API endpoint hosted on Vercel. That endpoint uses public sources such as USCIS test updates, U.S. Senate data, and current governor or legislator directories to return current civics answers. It does not send your spoken transcripts, practice profile notes, or AI feedback content for this lookup.
Do not include highly sensitive identifiers in practice answers, such as Social Security numbers, Alien Registration Numbers, passport numbers, document numbers, exact addresses, financial account numbers, or other information that is not needed for interview practice.
5. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate the app and related services. Apple provides iOS, App Store, StoreKit, speech recognition, crash diagnostics, and device-level services. Vercel hosts the Kuuloa LLC API used for AI answer feedback and current civics answer updates. OpenAI processes AI feedback requests submitted through that API.
These providers may process request metadata, logs, diagnostics, purchase status, or AI request content as needed to provide, secure, debug, and improve their services, according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Purchases
Paid features, including Prep Pass if offered, are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Kuuloa LLC may receive purchase entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock paid features. Kuuloa LLC does not receive your credit card number or full payment details.
7. Notifications
N-400 Ready does not currently schedule practice reminder notifications.
8. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs, third-party tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs. Kuuloa LLC does not sell your personal information.
Apple may provide developers with App Store analytics, crash diagnostics, TestFlight feedback, and purchase-related records according to Apple's systems and your device settings.
9. Educational and Legal Content
Study content, AI feedback, civics review, and N-400 practice prompts are provided for general educational practice only. They are not legal advice, not immigration advice, and not a guarantee that you will pass an interview or receive any benefit from a government agency. If you have questions about your eligibility, immigration history, criminal history, taxes, selective service, or other legal matters, consult a qualified immigration attorney or accredited representative.
10. Support Communications
If you contact Kuuloa LLC for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device model, app version, and purchase status. We use that information to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.
11. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, operational, App Store, AI provider, or hosting provider requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.

2. 端末内に保存される情報

N-400 Readyは、音声録音ファイルをKuuloa LLCのサーバーにアップロードまたは 保存しません。認識された文字起こしテキストは、回答表示と、送信した場合の 練習フィードバック生成に利用されます。
4. AI回答フィードバック

練習回答には、Social Security number、Alien Registration Number、 パスポート番号、各種書類番号、正確な住所、金融口座番号など、面接練習に不要な 高度に機微な識別情報を入力しないでください。
5. サービス提供者

8. 分析、トラッキング、広告

10. サポート連絡
Kuuloa LLCへサポート連絡をした場合、メールアドレス、問い合わせ内容、 スクリーンショット、端末モデル、アプリバージョン、購入状態など、 ユーザーが送信した情報を受け取る場合があります。これらの情報は、 問い合わせへの対応、不具合調査、アプリ改善のために利用します。
11. 子どものプライバシー
本アプリは13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。Kuuloa LLCは、 13歳未満の子どもから個人情報を故意に収集しません。
12. 本ポリシーの変更
アプリの変更、法律上・運用上・App Store上・AI提供者またはホスティング提供者の 要件変更に応じて、本プライバシーポリシーを更新する場合があります。更新後の ポリシーは、新しい最終更新日とともにこのページに掲載されます。
