NightSound: Snore Recorder is an iOS app by Kuuloa LLC that helps users record and review sleep sounds, including snoring, sleep talking, coughing, and room noises. No account is required to use the app.

NightSound is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or health advice.

Microphone and Sleep Recordings

NightSound requests microphone access only after the user grants iOS microphone permission. The microphone is used to record sleep sounds during a recording session started by the user.

Sleep recordings may include sensitive information, such as the user's voice, another person's voice, sleep talking, room sounds, or private conversations in the recording area. Users are responsible for using the app only where recording is permitted and for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

Audio recordings are stored locally on the user's device. They are not uploaded to a Kuuloa LLC server and are not sent to Kuuloa LLC for analysis.

Local Analysis and Reports

NightSound may analyze sleep audio on the device to detect sound events such as snoring, possible sleep talking, coughing, room noise, quiet periods, sound levels, timestamps, and session summaries. These results are used to show a morning report and help the user review relevant parts of a recording.

NightSound does not use developer-operated cloud AI, large language models, or a Kuuloa LLC server to analyze sleep recordings.

Data Stored on the Device

The app may store local data such as audio recordings, detected event timestamps, session reports, recording settings, low power mode settings, auto-stop settings, alarm settings, selected display language, privacy reminder state, and purchase entitlement state. This information is stored locally and is used to operate the app.

Alarms and Notifications

If the user enables wake alarm or reminder features, NightSound may use iOS alarm or local notification features to alert the user. The app does not use remote push notifications operated by Kuuloa LLC.

Sharing and Export

If the app offers sharing, export, or playback features, the user controls when recordings or reports are reviewed or shared. Information shared through iOS share features is handled by the selected destination or service, not by Kuuloa LLC.

Purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. The app receives purchase entitlement status from Apple to unlock Pro features. Kuuloa LLC does not receive the user's payment card details.

Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

NightSound does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking for cross-app advertising. The app does not sell personal data.

Apple may provide app performance information, crash diagnostics, purchase records, TestFlight feedback, or App Store analytics according to the user's Apple settings and Apple's own policies. Kuuloa LLC may use that information to support and improve the app.

Support Communications

If the user contacts Kuuloa LLC for support, we may receive the information the user chooses to send, such as an email address, message contents, screenshots, device details, app version, or diagnostic details. We use that information only to respond to the support request and improve the app.

Deletion and Retention

Recordings and local app data remain on the user's device until the user deletes them in the app, clears app data where available, or deletes the app. Kuuloa LLC cannot access or delete recordings stored only on the user's device.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Users should not use the app to record children or other people where consent or legal permission is required and has not been obtained.

This policy may be updated when the app changes. The last updated date will be updated when changes are made.

課金
