VoiceLoop is an iOS app by Kuuloa LLC that helps users record English conversations or their own spoken English, receive AI-assisted corrections, and review useful phrases. No personal account registration is required to use the app.

Anonymous User ID

VoiceLoop may create an anonymous user ID to save the user's settings, voice profile status, recordings, AI feedback, correction history, and practice progress. This ID is used to keep each user's data separate and does not require the user to provide a name, email address, or password.

Microphone, Voice Samples, and Recordings

VoiceLoop requests microphone access only after the user grants iOS microphone permission. The microphone is used to record a short voice sample, conversation audio, monologues, and speaking practice attempts started by the user.

A voice sample may be used to help identify the user's speech in a recording so feedback can focus on the user's English. The voice sample is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Recordings may include sensitive information, including the user's voice, another person's voice, private conversations, background sounds, or personal details spoken during a recording. Users are responsible for recording only where it is permitted and for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

AI Feedback and Service Providers

When the user requests feedback, VoiceLoop may upload recording audio and related metadata, such as duration, recording date, context notes if provided, and an anonymous user ID, to services used to operate the app. These services may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, Vercel for API hosting, Cloudflare R2 or similar object storage for audio files, and OpenAI for transcription and AI-assisted English feedback.

Before VoiceLoop sends conversation audio, a My Voice sample, title, memo, recording date, duration, transcript text, correction content, or roleplay request content to cloud AI processing, the app displays an in-app disclosure and asks the user to allow cloud AI analysis. If the user does not allow cloud AI analysis, VoiceLoop does not upload recordings or the My Voice sample for cloud AI analysis.

AI processing may create transcripts, speaker segments, corrected English phrases, Japanese explanations, practice phrases, and review history. These results are used to show feedback in the app and help the user review their English.

Kuuloa LLC uses service providers only to operate VoiceLoop and provide the requested AI feedback, storage, sync, purchase, and support functions. Kuuloa LLC confirms that third-party service providers that receive VoiceLoop user data are expected to protect that data with the same or equal level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and to use it only to provide services to Kuuloa LLC and VoiceLoop users.

Data Stored by the App

VoiceLoop may store app data such as selected app language, target English style, onboarding state, anonymous user ID, voice profile status, recording metadata, transcripts, corrections, practice phrases, practice counts, and mastery progress. Some information may be stored locally on the device and some may be stored in cloud services used by Kuuloa LLC to operate the app.

Purchases

If VoiceLoop offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Kuuloa LLC does not receive the user's payment card details.

Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

VoiceLoop does not use third-party advertising SDKs or tracking for cross-app advertising. The app does not sell personal data. Apple may provide app performance information, crash diagnostics, TestFlight feedback, or App Store analytics according to the user's Apple settings and Apple's own policies.

Support Communications

If the user contacts Kuuloa LLC for support, we may receive the information the user chooses to send, such as an email address, message contents, screenshots, device details, app version, or diagnostic details. We use that information only to respond to the support request and improve the app.

Deletion and Retention

Local app data remains on the user's device until the user deletes it in the app where available, clears app data, or deletes the app. Cloud data associated with the anonymous user ID may remain in Kuuloa LLC's service providers unless deletion is requested. Users may contact Kuuloa LLC at the email address above to request deletion of data associated with VoiceLoop.

Children

VoiceLoop is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Users should not use the app to record children or other people where consent or legal permission is required and has not been obtained.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app changes. The last updated date will be updated when changes are made.

匿名ユーザーID

マイク、自分の声、録音

VoiceLoop は、ユーザーが iOS のマイク許可を行った場合にのみマイクを使用します。 マイクは、短い声サンプル、会話音声、独り言、スピーキング練習など、 ユーザーが開始した録音に利用されます。

声サンプルは、録音内でユーザー本人の発話を識別し、ユーザーの英語に絞って フィードバックしやすくするために使われる場合があります。声サンプルは広告や アプリ横断のトラッキングには使用しません。

録音には、ユーザーの声、第三者の声、私的な会話、背景音、録音中に話された 個人情報など、機微な情報が含まれる場合があります。ユーザーは、録音が許可される 場所でのみアプリを使用し、適用される法律上必要な同意を得る責任があります。

AIフィードバックと利用サービス

ユーザーがフィードバックを作成する場合、VoiceLoop は録音音声や関連メタデータ （録音時間、録音日時、任意で入力されたメモ、匿名ユーザーIDなど）を、 アプリ運営に利用するサービスへ送信する場合があります。これらのサービスには、 認証、データベース、ストレージのための Supabase、APIホスティングのための Vercel、 音声ファイル保存のための Cloudflare R2 または同等のオブジェクトストレージ、 文字起こしおよびAIによる英語フィードバックのための OpenAI が含まれる場合があります。

Kuuloa LLC は、VoiceLoop の運営およびユーザーが依頼したAIフィードバック、保存、 同期、購入、サポート機能を提供する目的でのみサービス提供者を利用します。 Kuuloa LLC は、VoiceLoop のユーザーデータを受け取る第三者サービス提供者が、 本プライバシーポリシーで説明するものと同等以上の保護を行い、Kuuloa LLC および VoiceLoop ユーザーへのサービス提供のためにのみ利用することを確認します。

アプリが保存するデータ

VoiceLoop は、アプリの表示言語、目標とする英語スタイル、オンボーディング状態、 匿名ユーザーID、自分の声の登録状態、録音メタデータ、文字起こし、添削、 復習用フレーズ、練習回数、習得状況などを保存する場合があります。 一部の情報は端末内に保存され、一部の情報は Kuuloa LLC がアプリ運営に利用する クラウドサービスに保存される場合があります。

購入

VoiceLoop が有料機能を提供する場合、購入は Apple の StoreKit および App Store を通じて処理されます。Kuuloa LLC はユーザーの支払いカード情報を受け取りません。

解析、トラッキング、広告

子ども

VoiceLoop は一般向けのアプリであり、13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。 同意や法的な許可が必要で、それが得られていない場合、子どもや第三者を録音する 目的でアプリを使用しないでください。

アプリの変更に応じて、本ポリシーを更新する場合があります。変更がある場合は、 最終更新日を更新します。
